In case you've been wondering.....I'm still here. Been super busy lately! But I have finally worked out the kinks with my wireless internet issues so hopefully my post will become more frequent.
So baseball's over and boy am I glad!!! The Dodgers had a pretty terrible season. They ended up something like 7-14 Conner only got one hit the entire season. He did manage alot of walks and a got on base from fielding errors alot, but mostly it was watching him strike out over and over again! I will however miss my Dodger family! We have the most non-dramatic and friendly group of people. I shuddered listening to some of the horror stories from other teams. Most of our drama happened on the field. In our first game, one of the 12 year olds (our star player) broke his leg sliding into home! The next game another pitcher got smacked in the nose with a line drive. The boys were getting kinda scared to go out on the field. Conner even shared in the drama. About mid-season, he was playing third base and a ball took a bad hop and jumped up and bruised his hand. Then last regular season game one of our players got hit in the helmet while he was batting and our catcher (small, tiny boy) got run over (literaly) by a boy 3 times his size at home plate. So just the fact that Conner made it through the season with out any major injuries is cause for celebration!
