Typical Friday Night

So earlier tonight I sent Conner into the pizza place to pick up our order. While he was waiting we did a little picture exchange over text. Kaycee and I were happily singing and dancing in the car. Conner not so much. Pics will follow. (using my iPod to post, still don't have my laptop back and I don't know how to post two pictures at once)

Snuggling

I'm not much of a touchy feeling person. I really like my personal space. But somehow I just can't say no to Baylee when she wants to snuggle. Like right now I am biting my tongue as she squirms and wiggles next to me in my bed. But there is just something about that cute smile and big blue eyes that breaks me down everytime. So tonight I will give in and let her wiggle all she wants because there is soon coming a time when she won't want to snuggle anymore with her Momma. She's growing up way too fast !

I managed to capture a simple moment between my two oldest. I think this was the only time today they were together and not threatening bodily harm to each other.

A much better weekend

Last weekend started out like this

Kaycee was jumping on the trampoline like she's done a million times before. I walked away for two seconds and heard a scream thinking sibling fighting had erupted and being the great parent that I have become.... I ignored it. But hearing it again I realized there was some real pain going on so I headed over to give one of them a reaming out. As I turned the corner I saw Kaycee writhing around on the trampoline yelling "it's broken , it's broken". She held up her arm and there was definitely some breakage going on there. So I loaded her up in the car and we headed to the ER. Two days later we came back with a sling, splint and one gigantic pin in her arm.

She's doing much better now!  There is only a little bit of whining and crying when I have to clean the area on her arm where the pin comes out....and most of it's from me!



Some other random thoughts:

I need a frappé machine! I've developed a nasty addiction and need to figure out how to make it a less expensive habit!  ****Edit**** Bought one last night....I am officially making my own frappé   Using fat free milk, fat free caramel syrup and adding no sugar so basically it's healthy for me, right???   

I also need a sewing machine. Found a bunch of simple crafty hair accessories to make and an awesome pattern for making the girls some cute shirts with pillowcases.  Actually I did make this last night:

****edited**** J says I have a sewing machine in the attic that I forgot about!  Need to dust if off and see if it still works!!!

I need my laptop back! Love my iPod but typing on it is slowly driving me insane.
